Youth Opportunities: Youth Opportunities: Youth can contribute in a variety of ways including service projects, volunteering with a responsible adult, and participation in outreach events. Contact the Director to see how youth can help!
Age Requirements: Volunteers are required to be at least 18 years old. Children between the ages of 8 and 17 may volunteer but must be under the direct supervision of a trained adult volunteer when performing any duties at the shelter, outreach events or other designated activities. A Liability Waiver must be signed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian and be on file at the shelter. Youth under the age of 8 can perform service projects with the prior approval of the Director.
